What was the highlight of St George Beach Hotel & Spa Resort
It's pleasant, certainly felt relaxed being adults only hotel but it's a bit out the way
Good food variety and very fresh, catered well for English. For breakfast the fresh fruit and honey was a highlight for me. The choice of pools and a designated sun bed is a great idea. Had a spa treatment which lasted 3 hours, this was brilliant and not bad value. The beach leaves a bit to be desired it feels more like a construction site, the weird obelisk with scaffold poles detracts in my opinion. The drinks are all very good although some by the pool bar by certain staff are made in a rush and not quite to the standard of others around the place. The wine bar is a lovely asset to the place, very relaxing. Sunset bar great photo opportunity.
Whilst there are chefs cooking in front of you most of the time for breakfast, the food is served on to hot plates in front of them for you to choose, whilst this speeds up the process instead of waiting. I found tor example the pancakes go soggy and cold quite quick. I'd rather have these cooked and served straight away or change the plate to something else that keep them warm but prevent soggyness. The room wasn't as modern as it appeared and the bathroom not as clean as expected with some mould around edges. Clearly ventilation an issue. A/C didn't quite keep the room as cool as expected. Had to have curtains permanently drawn so no natural light while we were in our room to keep temperature down which is disappointing. The evening entertainment shows are not usually my thing anyway but we went to most, it felt a bit amateur to be honest. Daytime entertainment games were good although the hotel needs to invest in the facilities more as they are looking worn or are broken.

Exceptional stay, we already booked another stay for next year.
The room was very nice with a nice sea view. All the meals were exceptionally good, breakfast, lunch, dinner, all the buffets offered a lot of choices and variety. And the restaurants a la carte, the food was delicious. The location at the sea side was wonderful, allowing to go from the swimming pool to the beach in just a few steps.

Wonderful
Great idea for allocating sun beds so no major rush in the morning.
Need more staff on at the bars we waited 30 mins to be served one evening. Our room had been refurbished and the air on was great however our friends were on an older part of the building and you could barely feel the air conditioning

What was the highlight of St George Beach Hotel & Spa Resort
Exceptional
Great location, close to airport, beach and harbour. Lots of restaurant choices within hotel as well as separate wine and cocktail bars. Sun bed allocation was new for this year but worked well and only a short wait (2 days) for a sunbed by the pool. Monika in housekeeping was great and super friendly.
All bath tubs in rooms had been replaced by showers which is a shame, as previous years this was not the case and we liked having the option of a bath or shower.
